At CG Boost, we want to make high-quality 3D education accessible to everyone, whether you're just starting your creative journey or already working professionally.
That's why we offer two license options for our paid courses: Hobby and Professional.
Both licenses include the exact same course content, learning resources, and usage rights. The only difference is your current situation and how you intend to use the course when purchasing it.
For hobbyists, students, and aspiring 3D artists.
Choose this license if you're learning 3D primarily for fun, personal projects, or to develop your skills before starting a professional career.
This license is suitable if:
And if you become a professional later?
No problem! You can continue using everything you've learned, including the provided course assets, for commercial projects. There's no need to upgrade your license.
For professional 3D artists and commercial work.
Choose this license if you're already making a living with CG/3D and want to use our courses to improve your professional skills or support your commercial projects.
This license is suitable if:
What's included?
Exactly the same content, benefits, and usage rights as the Hobby License. The higher price reflects the professional context in which you're purchasing and using the course.
Regardless of which license you choose, you can use the knowledge, techniques, and included course assets for personal and commercial projects.
This means you can:
However, you may not resell, redistribute, or share the original course assets as standalone files, whether modified or unmodified, or include them in products intended primarily to redistribute those assets.
Course videos and other instructional content are strictly for personal learning and may not be copied, resold, redistributed, or shared with others.
These permissions apply to CG Boost-owned course materials. Any third-party assets included in a course remain subject to their respective licenses.
1. Do both licenses include the same content and benefits?
Yes! Both include the same lessons, project files, learning resources, updates, and support. The Professional License doesn't unlock any additional features or content.
2. I purchased a Hobby License but now work professionally. Do I need to upgrade?
No. Your Hobby License remains valid, even if you become a full-time professional 3D artist. You can continue using the knowledge and assets commercially without upgrading.
3. I occasionally earn money with my 3D work. Which license should I choose?
If 3D is mainly your hobby and you only occasionally earn money from it, the Hobby License is fine. If CG/3D is your profession and you make your living from it, please choose the Professional License.
4. Can I share my course access with others?
No. Both licenses are intended for one individual learner. If you'd like to purchase courses for your team, studio, or school, please contact us about group licensing options.
Not sure which license is right for you? Just reach out to us, and we'll be happy to help.
